Llama llovin on the “active" Pinchincha
Volcano. The view of Quito in the valley
is breathtaking. Local merchants make money
from tourists with their llamas. Fifty cents for a picture. I don’t know who was more nervous me or him (or her I didn’t look)
I am now told this volcano is labelled inactive….but who knows? People here make jokes about volcano eruptions and earthquakes. It is better to laugh than be afraid all the time. Ha ha is ja ja in Spanish :-)
Popop, I think I would pay $2.50 for a picture with a llama. I think the llama looks more nervous. I hope the volcano doesn't erupt! Love, Jude
